The premise given to this brief Around Mobile _Always Beta has been to push our interest on Revolution like well explained by the project leader:
The community, its individuals and institutions are the base of our societal being, how will political systems be changed by new mobile technologies?
How will technology support new active citizens?

Clearly this project is oriented toward politics and how can the people be part of the decision making of the government. This growing will of the people can be explained by the fact that more and more people on this planet from all parts of society can now express them self with many different ways and apparatus; voice their opinion and make it herd.
But how can these voices be herd by the right people? How can they also be important actors of the society in witch they live in? More important how can the peoples voice be heard, respected and given a chance to change and better the world in witch they live in?
This is what Portiere is addressing, the need of the people of being part of the government and not endure any more decision taken for them.
What is it?
The invisible-wireless-connectivity part of mobile has a great potential to bring revolutionary changes in the society, politically in democratic way. Around mobile opens up the possibility for every citizen to interact with the government by sending messages (complaint, suggestion, information and so on), which will be visible to everyone. Example of this fact includes the civic participation in governmental decision making, social integration and networking. PoliTree is a concept tree which enforces transparency between every citizen and the government and possibly it facilitate new social behaviour.
How it works?
Politree is the answer to what people desire to better in their surroundings and world. Politree is addressing all realms of a person’s society and environment. This project is not just a product, a form or a concept but a system made for the people. This System starts in the hand of the people. (For further reference called user) The user is the key to the system of Politree; he as the power in is hand to voice his opinion, comment, problems and solutions on its environment.
First, he sends his comment either by phone, Internet, wifi, sms text to a central system that redistributes the information to the right department and his directly given to the person that can and will address this situation may it be simple or of major importance all comments are taken seriously and respond in the fastest way possible.
This project can also be used in a just in time way; a corner in the visual interface allows the user to see who in is zone or community is placing comments. The user can also go to different interfaces and see what other complaints have been made on similar and different comments, allowing the user to interact with the situations.
Second, Politree is not only a system but has an apparatus witch has two function; first of distributing and store the information given by the users. This tree shape transmitter, will light up in different colours; red for urgent, yellow for medium importance, blue for necessity and green for passive comments. In this proposal there are more than one Politree or “transmitter” actually there are one per zone of all cities, permitting to see the different situations and how the government is resolving the problems.
On the other end of this system in the government sides; there is a matrix that shows the situation in coloured dotes and so it’s a visual representation of the situation of the country he is responsible. The less interest the government pays to the matrix and its problems the more it will light up and become red creating an emergency like event and an embarrassment to the government.
Value & Potential
The value and potentials of the system are endless. When used like intended and respected properly the Politree will be able to resolve a multitude of stress and problems in different communities.
Politree is intended to better this world even if at some times it may seem difficult. Politree wants to better it, step by step, one person at a time and problem by problem.
