Mobile Embodiments 2
Brief: _Mobile Embodiments 2
Project Leader: Giulio Ceppi
Project Assistants: Erina Ikeda
Project: My name is MOBILE
Group members:Rico Nieto Alfonso (MD), Szlachcic Zuzanna Magdalena (MD), Moon Jee Youn (MID) & Pansolli Roberto (MID)

After several iterations, the group chose to develop three products, each targeting different user situations. The concepts are: Privacy Scarf, Diary and Gradient of Happiness.
Privacy Scarf is used to enhance the need for either intimacy or exhibitionism in public settings. The mobile is seen as a communication/entertainment unit, for conversations, SMS, listening to music.
Diary allows accessing the information stored in the mobile in a visual manner, in order to enhance an ambient setting. The product, therefore, becomes a charger placed in the house, which organizes daily user/mobile interactions. The information collected is then projected onto a surface (wall or ceiling), in a poetic way, thus enhancing the ambience of the space.
The interaction with the mobile often reflects the user’s state of mind. The mobile can detect and interpret the user’s mood. This information can then be reflected on three different household objects: a pillow, a placemat and a mirror.
