Idea | Problem Setting | Context
To design the environmental organic humidifier with multi-functions is the enhancement of radiator using heating system. It has eccentric and unique form but very normal and simple function. So when they see this object, they may have curiosity.
The control of the evaporation of water by heat in this object is to keep appropriate humidity for human’s healthy. Moreover, the product is very useful for the dry of underwear, socks, towels and so on like small clothes. The combinations of controllable humidify and dry are so called ‘hybrid humidifier’. There are important three key points to consider our design: (1) position of between water container and radiator, (2) the attachment of radiator to whole product, and (3) the assembly and/or arrangement of small clothes including socks and underwear inside the product.
This product can be immobilized on any heater, which places in living room, kitchen and bathrooms and used for both humid controller and dryer. Even in no heat, the product can generate natural water evaporation from washings at room temperature and results in maintaining ideal humidity inside room.
What is it?
Our idea of how to develop our object is to approach creativity from the viewpoint of a child. Children always are engaging their active imaginations and acting on their ideas. However, their imaginative ideas don’t usually fit adult’s common sense, but they could be used to create artful and practical object in our lives. Following our object, we will address the underlying design of their eccentric viewpoint of this object.
As water is evaporated, it forms vapor which leads to greater humidity in the air. So, this product, once installed hybrid moisture controller, provides greater control over the humidity in the air and dryness of humid stuffs in the environment at the same time.
How it works?
After filling with water into a container, it attaches a radiator and provides the evaporation of water by heating from the radiator. The determination of humidify depends on the amount of the water evaporation by controlling the temperature in heating system. More importantly, the dry of washings on the radiator can also generate water vapor and control humidify inside a room.
Value & Potential
In conclusion, with the controllable humidify system of the organic humidifier, we will explore their utility under environmental standard and saving electricity. In particular, the dryness of wet clothes and the control of humidify under no use of electricity are very attractive for use in radiator system.
